The JDAVMail Project
JDAVMail is a JavaMail
service provider. It provides an alternative access method to WebMail
services - like - HotMail (*). Those services are using a WebDAV based
protocol (aka HTTPMail) as a replacement of POP3 or IMAP.

JDAVMail uses the following libraries:
- JDOM - a very elegant bridge between
the XML and Java worlds.
- Apache-Jarkarta-Commons HttpClient.
- Apache-Jarkarta-Commons Logging -
subsuming various logging APIs (log4j, logkit, JDK1.4, ...) under a
common umbrella.
(Other requirements are: JDK 1.3.x and a reachable SAX parser like
Apache's Xerces-J)
